District General Information
Grandview-Hopkins is a rural community of 200 located 16 miles south of Pampa off of Highway 70 on F.M. 293. It is predominantly a farming community with oil and gas reserves. The community is primarily composed of families that depend on agriculture for their livelihoods.
The Grandview-Hopkins Independent School District was organized in 1973 when the Grandview ISD and Hopkins ISD consolidated. The district encompasses about 130 square miles. Grandview-Hopkins Elementary provides a quality education for grades Kindergarten through 5. The ethnic make-up is approximately 75 percent Anglo and 25 percent minority.
